(Czech Republic) Here's more melodic madness from the Czech Republic, where there's an amazing number of top notch bands and great animators who are creating videos. Ahmed má Hlad is an eight-piece ensemble with eclectic tastes, and this track certainly races through several genres in under four minutes. The central theme is bracketed by a lament - in the beginning for the oppressed servants of the rich, later, ironically for the inevitable downfall of empire. In between we get a pumped up "kozatsky" in which a town is besieged and sacked.
