Ahmadinejad Marks Revolution Anniversary with Nuclear Announcement

(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: February 11, 2010) Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran has reached 20% uranium enrichment in its nuclear program, and authorities clamped down on the opposition as the country marked the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. European leaders have pledged to support Greece as that country struggles with debt which threatens to destabilize the euro zone. Twenty years ago, Nelson Mandela was released after twenty-seven years in a South African prison; however, the South African nation continues to face serious challenges. In Haiti, charity schools have begun to restore a sense of normality to Haitian children after the earthquake.
