(Ireland/USA) Solas is a Celtic supergroup, and quite a few amazing musicians have graced its lineup. This fine old song is from a live concert, and is performed marvelously by John Doyle, one of the founders of the band, who has since gone on to pursue a solo career. It tells the tale of a young man whose misguided energy is his downfall; too late, he bitterly reflects on a choice poorly made.
