Up to 500 Killed in Nigerian Violence

(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: March 8, 2010) Violence between Christians and Muslims has broken out again in Nigeria, and up to 500 people are believed to have been killed. A large earthquake struck eastern Turkey. Turnout was 62 percent in Sunday's election in Iraq, down from 76 percent in the 2005 elections; results are expected on Thursday. Civil servants in Britain have gone on strike over pay and working conditions.
