Haiti: Search and Rescue

25-year-old Natalie was buried for seven days in Port au Prince amongst rubble from the Haitian earthquake. She survived after local and international Search and Rescue teams worked for 12 straight hours to free her. During the week after the quake struck over 120 people were saved from the ruins of Haiti, often by Haitian civilians using their bare hands to dig for loved ones, neighbors and complete strangers.
