Nigeria's Acting President Sacks Nation's Cabinet

(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: March 17, 2010) Nigeria's acting president Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the nation's cabinet, one month after taking control from the ailing Umaru Yar'Adua. Also, violence continues between Muslims and Christians near the Nigerian city of Jos. In Uganda, soldiers clashed with demonstrators after a holy site caught fire. Violence continues in East Jerusalem and the West Bank between Palestinians and Israeli security forces. Anti-government protestors in Thailand have vowed to keep up their demonstrations.
