(Uzbekistan) Sevara Nazarkhan is a major star in Uzbekistan, and this performance comes from a concert that she gave in Tashkent to break in some new material and to sing a few favorites for her friends (700 of them). "Yor-Yor" is a traditional song about a bride whose grief at leaving her parent's home must be offset by her new one - "This house with the golden threshold is yours." Sevara is definitely in her element here, milking the melismas and strutting her stuff.
