(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: June 17, 2010) Israel has agreed to let more goods into Gaza, including food and educational material, following international pressure to ease restrictions. Five Somalis have been sentenced to five years in jail for hijacking a cargo ship, the first such piracy trial to be held in Europe. Afghanistan's mining minister asserts that the country's mineral wealth may be worth $3 trillion, three times what was suggested in the recent U.S. survey. In Indonesia, factories are benefitting from the rising Chinese labor costs, though the Indonesian workers are not profiting from the increased demand.
