Thousands Still Calling for Mubarak's Resignation

(Al Jazeera English Headlines: February 9, 2011) Thousands are still gathering in Cairo's Liberation Square and in cities across Egypt continue their call for President Hosni Mubarak to resign. Crowds also waiting outside parliament while a group known as The Wisemen is meeting to negotiate a handover of power within the government. A string of bomb blasts in Kirkuk in northern Iraq have killed 7 people and wounded dozens more. Protsecuters in italy have filed a request to put the Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi on trial for abuse of power and having sex with an underage escort. Burlesconi denies charges.
