Fears Over Gaddafi's Next Move
(Al Jazeera English Headlines: 0635 PST, March 1, 2011) With Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi under mounting pressure, there are fears over his next move. There are reports of heavily armed pro-Gaddafi paramilitary forces on the outskirts of the opposition-held city of Nalut, and of food supplies into Az Zawiyah being blocked. Tensions are also mounting amid chaotic scenes at the Tunisia-Libya border, as thousands of people try to flee the fighting. And Yemen's president Ali Abdullah Saleh has blamed Israel and the U.S. for the unrest taking place in his country and across the Arab world.
