With Egypt facing an economic crisis driven by record lows on currency exchange markets and accelerating inflation, the country's prime minister Hesham Kandil says the ratification of a new constitution and upcoming parliamentary elections mark the end of a "transitional period," and that Egypt is set to improve economically and politically. But, for the 40 percent of Egyptians already living below the poverty line, recovery cannot come soon enough. BBC Arabic reports.
