Greetings:
As someone who cares about improving the lives of people in developing countries we’d like to tap your brain. Would you take a few moments to complete a brief survey to help us set priorities? By sharing your thoughts, you’ll help to ensure that ViewChange.org becomes a powerful tool for progress.
What is ViewChange.org?Imagine the video sharing power of YouTube coupled with the open information of Wikipedia and the mission-driven focus of your favorite advocacy Web site: that’s ViewChange.org. Click here to learn more about the ViewChange.org project.
Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ViewChange.org is built on the premise that stories are powerful, especially those told through images and sounds. They have the power to influence how we think and act. Unfortunately, when it comes to stories about foreign aid or global development, far too often the moral of the story is focused on bad news instead of hope and progress.
Yet there are countless beacons of success in eradicating poverty, hunger, and disease in the developing world—like the lives being saved by something as simple as Egyptians adding iron to the flour used in their daily bread. Simple, effective, sustainable. But those stories rarely get told.
How you can help.We want to create a hub where global development organizations and citizen activists can harness the power of storytelling to become game-changers in the global development debate.
By completing our brief survey, you’ll help us determine how to make ViewChange.org a powerful tool for global progress.
Will you share your thoughts on how we can make ViewChange.org a useful tool?
The Internet has revolutionized our ability to communicate powerful ideas in the blink of an eye. With your help, we hope to take that one step further.
Thanks for taking the time to share your opinions today.
Sincerely,
