Paul Redman

Bio:
Paul Redman, director, lighting cameraman and editor: Since 2000 I have been making campaign films with the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA). These films have involved investigating and documenting environmental crime using covert and open filming techniques in some of the remotest parts of the world. I have also trained many civil society groups, which has led to extensive video advocacy networks in Indonesia, India and now Tanzania. My work has been used in News features for CNN, BBC and SKY and I have been nominated three times for the Filmmakers For Conservation, ‘Filmmaker of the Year’ award and recently won the Montana International Wildlife Festival’s ‘Best Cultural Message’ for Handcrafted Films’, ‘5x5: Voices of Change from the Forests of Indonesia’ short film series. I am currently a director of Handcrafted Films.
