Using Link on the Web

Link TV broadcasts programs that engage, educate and activate viewers to become involved in the world, and one of the best tools for bringing people together across geographical and cultural distances is the Internet. We hope that not only will you watch the programs we air, but that you’ll connect to and actually expand the Link community.

Here are a few ways you can.

Watch videos online. Please check out the Original Series section of this site to watch our award-winning shows in their entirety online and to look for web exclusive videos. Most other programs airing on Link TV also have a short clip available on our website to give you an idea of what to expect if you tune in. You can also watch World Music video clips and Cinemondo interviews with international filmmakers.

Watch videos full screen. To watch videos that appear on the Link TV website full screen, click on the button with the two small rectangles that appears on the bottom right-hand side of the video player on any given page. Be sure to allow Link TV pop-ups in your browser and when you press the button a new, resizable video player will appear.

Watch higher quality videos, full screen. The Miro service allows you to watch Link TV programs and videos from other content partners full screen. To learn more about using Miro click here

Embed a player. It's easy to embed a player on your website or blog that continually updates itself to present the most recent episode of some of Link TV’s news and current affairs programs, including Mosaic: World News from the Middle East, Latin Pulse/Pulso Latino and Global Pulse. To learn more about embedding a player on your blog or website read our simple directions.

Embed an episode. Now you can also embed individual videos on your website or blog (note: this will only work for videos from Link TV original series). If you see a video you like, click on the OPTIONS button in the player's lower right corner, and select Embed.

Subscribe to video podcasts and RSS feeds. Link TV makes several of its original series available as regular video podcasts from the iMusic store. It's also possible to subscribe to an RSS feed that delivers headlines from our many world news programs to your favorite application or site. To learn more about these options and to subscribe visit our RSS Feeds & Podcasts page.

Email videos. If you see a video that you think is great and you want to email it to friends, click either on the email link that appears in the video's player window (for Cinemondo and World Music) or on the OPTIONS button that appears in the lower right hand corner of the player. Fill out the simple form that comes up to email the program to whoever you like. Once you’ve clicked on the OPTIONS button you’ll also be able to watch videos in Quicktime, if you’d prefer.
