She joined Oxpeckers in September 2018 as an associate journalist and managed the extractives data-driven digital tool, #MineAlert. She has produced several journalistic investigations based on data sourced and curated by #MineAlert, one of which earned her the Vodacom Regional Young Journalist Award for the KwaZulu-Natal region in 2019.
