Mosaic Archive

Mosaic is the Peabody Award-winning daily compilation of television news reports from the Middle East including Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, the Palestinian Authority, Iraq and Iran.

Mosaic monitors the daily TV news programs produced by more than 35 broadcasters throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Highlights of these news reports are presented unedited and translated, when necessary, into English.

Mosaic includes television newscasts from selected national and regional media entities, including . Some of the broadcasters are state controlled and others are private networks, often affiliated with political factions. These news reports are regularly watched by 280 million people in 22 countries across the MidEast and North Africa.

Mosaic is supported by John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Firedoll Foundation, and Wyncote Foundation.

On April 7, 2005, Mosaic was chosen a Peabody Award winner, as one of the best in electronic media for 2004. The Peabody Awards, the oldest honor in electronic media, recognizes distinguished achievement and meritorious public service.
