Berlin Wall

On November 3, 1989, the wall that divided the city of Berlin finally fell. Thus fell the 27 years of division and tension generated after the end of the World War II. This era bred political and cultural tension that made the German nation a subject of close scrutiny from the two major political axes of the world: Moscow and Washington.
