Check out this live Tundra Buggy Cam to get a front row view of nearly 1,000 polar bears as they wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze over near the small Canadian town of Churchill, Manitoba.

This project aims to turn non-stop live coverage of the migration season into a global event people use to measure the health of the planet and mark the true coming of winter in one of earth’s most precious bellwether ecosystems. Take action by participating in explore.org's Polar Bear Story Contest!
