Finding Common Ground - Bridging Racial Divide

In an uncommon, entertaining and inspiring demonstration of a Democrat and a Republican working together, former DNC and RNC party chairs, Donna Brazile and Michael Steele met in Charlottesville, VA at a Common Ground Committee public forum. They discuss the government’s role in bridging America's racial divides and answer audience questions about policy, party politics, civic engagement and citizen responsibility. Charlottesville was the site of the August 17, 2017 Unite the Right rally that left one person dead and ignited a storm of debate on race across the nation.
