The 18th annual Fine Cut Festival of Films is a collection of short films from student and emerging filmmakers. In this episode, "Spaceman" from the U.S. (Comedy), "Blue" from the U.S. (Animation), "You, Me, US" from the U.S. (Experimental), and "Itch" from the U.K. (Suspense).

"Spaceman"

A young man with big aspirations sets out on a very curious and unique path to realize his dream of becoming an astronaut. Unemployed and living with his single mother, Rupert Madurski must find a nice balance in a world without spacemen.

This animation follows a young girl who is blue.

"You, Me, US"

Elizabeth needs Roy to have an internal sense of wholeness and security. However, she is afraid and embarrassed to tell the outside world about his existence and keeps him locked up. When Roy finally tries to break free, Elizabeth is challenged with a complicated decision.

"Itch"

A female adventurer returns home with a mysterious object. As she tries to uncover its secrets, its influence causes her innermost fears to become reality.

A young girl, traveling in the south of Angola, meets a retired doctor who deals with the memories of war and its perpetual waste. An adaptation of the short tale "The Dragonfly", by Ondjaki.
