Music, Spirit & Protest: The Hippie Idea & Climbing Poetree

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock music festival this August, we revisit an episode from our archives to ask the question, can music make a movement? Legendary music producer Danny Goldberg takes us back to a time when "All You Need is Love" was not meant to be ironic, and we talk about his book, In Search of the Lost Chord about the hippie summer of 1967. Then, from the movement music scene, Alixa Garcia and Naima Penniman talk about their album, Intrinsic, and perform for us in studio.
