Made by Hand
In an age of mass production, we have lost touch with where products come from, how they are made, and the quality and care an individual can take to make a product. As part of Link TV's Global Perspectives, "Made by Hand" tells the stories, through vignettes and portraits, of makers, people who craft products by hand. These individuals challenge the notion of authenticity and perfection through their own virtue, while unified by the drive to master their craft. We look closely at the materials, tools, and techniques, as each portrait follows a character’s process, giving us a window into shared passion for craft across cultures and around the world.
