His fascination with the female figure and its power to aggregate the family inspired André François to look for exciting stories of love and challenges throughout Brazil. In his trips, the photographer met women of different ages, who are an example to their country, their community, their family, and themselves.

This documentary addresses issues such as pregnancy among teenagers, family relationships, domestic violence, and the facing of illnesses such as cancer: major topics that surround the health and welfare of Brazilian women.

With strong and sincere testimonies, these young and older women tell their stories and experiences with pride, with the certainty that determination is the path to overcome difficulties and keep on going.
